ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Tom Bourdon is a sought-after trainer, coach, consultant, and facilitator who helps individuals and organizations create meaningful change in the world.
A leadership, inclusion, and impact strategist, Tom is the founder and principal of Next Level Impact, launched in 2025 to partner with people and organizations ready to turn their values into action.
Tom previously served as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leader at Staples and BigCommerce; led Greater Boston PFLAG; and directed LGBTQ Centers at UCLA and Tufts University, where he also helped launch the Social Justice Leadership Initiative. He has partnered with numerous organizations—including Google, Microsoft, and Hasbro—to strengthen inclusive leadership and drive meaningful organizational impact.
Tom received his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University, his Master’s in Education from UCLA, and his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College. He has been a certified coach for nearly 20 years and holds active credentials through both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the Board Certified Coach (BCC) program.
Known for his compassionate style, authentic energy, and thought-provoking approach, Tom is a frequent keynote speaker and moderator on leadership, inclusion, and purpose-driven change. He lives in Massachusetts with his husband and their two children.
